Thomas M. Davis Jr., M.D.
Dr. Davis is a native of Jackson, MS. He attended Mississippi College where he graduated with special distinction and AOA at the University of Mississippi Medical School.
He received his MD with honors and completed his residency in Ophthalmology at University Medical Center in Jackson. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, is the past president of the Alabama Academy of Ophthalmology and is on the Clinical Faculty of the University of Alabama.
Dr. Davis has been providing quality eye care in the West Alabama area for 32 years. He has performed refractive surgery since 1991 and has specialized in cataract surgery. His clinical focus is the diagnosis and management of eye conditions and diseases, including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease and comprehensive eyecare.
Dr. James B. Wilhite, Jr.
Dr. Wilhite is a native of Tuscaloosa. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Alabama in 2013 and AOA from the UAB School of Medicine in 2017.
He completed his Internal Medicine internship and Ophthalmology residency at the Texas A&M Ophthalmology program at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in 2021, serving as chief ophthalmology resident.
Dr. Wilhite is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He brings a strong clinical presence and specialized training in cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, and laser treatment of glaucoma. He specializes in comprehensive eye care, including management of cataract, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and macular degeneration. Dr. Wilhite has been passionate about glorifying God by helping others through the medical field ever since participating in medical mission trips in college. During his free time, he enjoys being outdoors, spending time with his wife and 4 kids, and being involved at his local church.
